RE2000
SOFTWARE PATCH
FOR WINDOWS 2000 & XP USERS
Some
customers have experienced the following error when running
the RE2000 programming software on Windows 2000 and Windows
XP systems:
"16 bit window subsystem. c:\winnt\system32\autoexec.nt.
The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft
windows applications. Choose 'close' to terminate
the application"
This error is the result of certain system files being corrupt,
or missing from you system32 folder.
This bug is addressed in The Microsoft Knowlegebase article
324767.

proper operation of your computer. Use extreme caution
any time you have to replace or modify system files.
Otherwise, serious damage can result.
Download the following zip file and save it somewhere that
you can find it in case the problem happens again.
Once downloaded, extract the contents to:
C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32
Or
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
(Select the path that applies to your system)
